Privacy

Slate stores your account email, display name, saved Sleeper and ESPN league IDs, team preferences, watchlists and membership status to provide your workspace. Supabase provides authentication, database hosting, and server functions; Cloudflare serves this website.

Connected accounts

Google or Apple sign-in shares the basic profile information needed to create your account. Slate does not request access to your inbox, files, or contacts. League data comes from Sleeper or ESPN. Selecting a team is a preference, not proof of ownership. Private ESPN connections use session credentials that you supply voluntarily. These are encrypted on the server, never stored in browser storage, and sent only to ESPN to read league data. They are deleted when you remove that league or delete your account. ESPN may expire a connection and require you to reconnect.

Payments

Stripe processes payment details and manages subscriptions. Slate stores billing identifiers and membership status, not card numbers.

Services your browser contacts

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), player headshots, team logos and avatars from Sleeper (sleepercdn.com) and some headshots from ESPN (espncdn.com). League rosters, users and drafts are read directly from Sleeper’s public API (api.sleeper.app), and live scores from ESPN’s public scoreboard. These services receive your IP address and ordinary browser request details, under their own privacy policies. ESPN player news and private ESPN league data are fetched by Slate’s server instead; for news, only the ESPN player ID is sent.

Browser storage

Slate keeps your login session in your browser, along with your settings (theme, chosen team, draft strategy and tags), saved mock drafts, and cached public Sleeper draft histories of the managers in your leagues, kept for up to a week to power draft tools. Mock drafts and those histories stay in your browser and are not sent to Slate. Signing out removes the active session; clearing this site’s data in your browser removes the rest. No advertising trackers are installed.

Account control

You can change your profile, remove saved leagues, or permanently delete your Slate account from the account page. Deletion requires a recent sign-in. If you have a paid membership, cancel it and allow the paid period to end first. Payment providers may retain records required for their services. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
